It is a picture of Jean Chretien. It made a little appearance on The Rick Mercer Report.
A lot of people laughed and I was happy. So now If you look up my name on google you will find Rick Mercer's blog page... and my website is somewhere down in 10th place.

Tonight I went to the bar across the street, had a pint of Guinness with some friends. After which I headed over to a graphic design party, based soley on the sexily designed invitations they made. Then unfortunately I had to return to my apartment to finish my illustration entitle bullshit, about internet spam.

Ive never done it before, but Sharknife amuses me so I decided to do this little ditty. If you don't know Sharknife, he is just a busboy at this huge restaurant that gets attacked by monsters. Therefore he must turn into this giant ninja sharknife to defeat the monsters. I don't have a scanner so I had to do everything with my tablet. I'm happy with how it turned out. I think its radical.

Sharknife is Corey Lewis' character.

so I watched a few short films from some of the animators that worked on Linklater's Waking life. I found them inspiring to say the least. I decided that I'm am going to make a short film... very short film... under a minute... with flash, that is rotoscoped. I did this little test in a little over an hour...

Lula Lounge night

This piece is a few weeks old. But I post it because it was for a promo for the Lula Lounge, a nightclub in Toronto owned by Jose Ortega, a New York Illustrator. So now on Friday, February 4 a week from now, They will have a small show displaying my card as well a bunch more cards in a small art exhibition. It will be a fun little night... maybe some dancing can get done.

welp my week of staying up late and doing home work and sleeping for a few hours is almost to a close now. I finished these two illustrations a few minutes ago and I just emailed them to the printers. They are for my graduating year's book about mis-heard song lyrics. My first song is Fleetwood Mac's Dreams... The lyric is "When the rain washes you clean you'll know" but I swear to god I heard "When the rainbow shaves you clean you'll know" so this is what I drew:

The second Illustration is from The Band's song Cripple creek. I went for the obvious "Up on nipple creek, she sends me"

These are my legacy I hope to leave at Sheridan after I graduate in April. I want to be known as "that guy"...
